WHAT'S NEW  

The Texas Truck Rodeo has a new home for 2016: the Longhorn River Ranch located in a picturesque Texas Hill Country setting west of Austin, near Dripping Springs. With spectacular elevation changes and, with around 1,632 acres, is roughly 50% larger than our previous venue, giving us the option for more varied and challenging off-road courses than ever before. On-road drive routes follow the winding river roads along Onion Creek and stints at highway speeds more closely represent drive cycles Texans experience everyday.

Also new this year, there will be NO EMBARGO for the awards announcement. We encourage social media coverage such as live tweeting and Periscoping as soon as the announcements are made. News outlets that want to report the results are encouraged to attend and report from the awards ceremony.

HOTEL ROOM POLICY

New this year, all registrants are empowered to make and manage their own hotel room reservations. Upon successful event registration, attendees will receive booking codes and instructions via confirmation e-mail. To reserve your hotel room for the Truck Rodeo, you will need to contact the Sonesta Bee Cave Hotel directly, either online or by phone.

You will need a credit card to complete the reservation.

Journalist Members

TAWA will be paying for your hotel room on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights if needed. Your credit card will only be used for incidentals and can be changed at check-in, should you desire. You are subject to the terms, including cancellation policies, you agree to in the registration form.

Journalists will be guaranteed a room in the event hotel room block upto the date which Manufacturer & Associate Member registration is opened. Following that date, should the room block not accommodate all reservations, Journalist Members will be accommodated at a nearby property. So, REGISTER EARLY and RESERVE YOUR ROOM IMMEDIATELY!

Manufacturers and Associates

Manufacturers and Associate Members are responsible for your own hotel charges and reservations using the Group Code provided in your e-mail confirmations.
