Michael Herzing - President
Michael is owner and founder of Accurate Auto Center, a full service automotive repair facility located in Tomball, Texas. He founded the business in 1979 after spending 8 years at dealerships as technician, service, and parts managers.
An ASE certified Master Tech, Michael is a founding member of the National Council of Automotive Service Executives, a proud member of the Texas Auto Writers Association, Editor-in Chief for Lets Talk Wheels.com, and Automotive Editor for the Houston Community Newspaper Syndicate. Since 2003, Michael has Co-Hosted (along with Harold Gunn) the syndicated radio program The Automotive Reporter, based in Houston and part of the growing BIZ Radio network. Michael is a native Houstonian and resides in NW Houston with his sons Josh and Travis.
Michael Marrs - 2nd Vice President
Michael is a freelance automotive journalist and photographer working from his Southeast Texas location in Nederland, Texas.
Having developed an interest in automobiles at an early age, street racing finally led to the drag strip and custom car shows where Michael and his friends wanted pictures of their cars. It was the need to create those images that led to the beginning of a lifelong interest in photography which has included attending multiple Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. Obtaining a B.S. degree in Business Management eventually led to developing a corporate writing style as a Process Engineer, and it was combining those two skills that opened the first doors into the world of freelance automotive journalism.
In addition to being an active Texas Auto Writers Association member, Michael is a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association.
